Shallow and deep foundation design, ground improvement, excavation shoring, and dewatering for urban, industrial, and hillside sites.
Lower Mainland ground is rarely uniform. Competent till and rock take spread footings; peat, deltaic silts, and liquefiable sands do not. We design rafts, driven or drilled piles, and ground improvement — preload, rapid impact compaction, stone columns — that match the deposit and the structure.
Earthworks and retaining systems (MSE, cantilever, gravity, reinforced slopes) are designed for the limited land and steep grades that define most Metro Vancouver lots.
